Eden London’s response to COVID-19
The global COVID-19 pandemic has restricted much of the building and construction industry over the last month, with the priority always being to protect the NHS and save lives.
However, as of next week (Monday 27th April), Eden London will be back in action, with revised processes that are in line with government guidelines in place to ensure our staff, clients and the general public are protected from the spread of coronavirus.
Read on for details on the special measures we will be taking to complete our projects responsibly and safely.
Sourcing supplies
Many traders’ suppliers have been closed for the last few weeks. However Travis Perkins, the UK’s biggest building material supplier, has partially reopened to offer a click & collect service for traders. This allows eden London to acquire materials for our projects in a contact-free, low risk way.
Health & safety review
Our on-site health & safety procedures have been reviewed to contain special direction on preventing the spread of the coronavirus which are inline with HSE.
Eden London will be carrying out regular disinfecting of work areas and tools, as well as wearing the advised PPE equipment. We have a number of UK-approved masks and gloves in stock which our staff will be wearing while conducting work, and we are in contact with suppliers to ensure we don’t experience a shortage.
The safety of our team and others is paramount for eden London. We are closely monitoring the situation relating to COVID-19, and will continue to review our working processes to ensure we are doing everything we can to stay safe.
